Jennifer Dobinson is an abstract artist, using acrylic paint and mixed media on canvas to produce intuitive and emotional pieces of work. Her artwork is created intuitively, drawing upon her observations from nature, the environment around her and her life experiences. Jennifer has had no formal art training, but has been drawing and painting since she could hold a pencil. Her latest art, purely intuitive, is created from memory and emotions and she hopes her art speaks to the heart of the viewer when they look at her work. Jennifer Dobinson is a member of the Ailsa Craig Arts Centre and is represented by Fringe Custom Framing and Gallery. | Marilyn fell in love with the potters wheel in 1976 when she took her first pottery course at Fanshawe College in London. Her first studio was in the basement of her home. In 1996 she had enough of working in the small, dark space and decided to build a studio on the property. A decision that changed her life. In this age where technology rules the day, Marilyn finds great comfort in going back to the basics— creating with clay and sharing that joy with others.
