Introduction to Rug Hooking with Kim Baskin

During this workshop students will learn all the elements required to complete an 8" x 8” rug. Beginner students will finish most of the rug by the end of class. More experienced hookers should be able to complete it during the class. Hands-on instruction will detail basic pulling techniques and edge finishing.
*There is a Kit fee of $55.00. This is paid to instructor on the day of the workshop. Please bring cash.
The kit for the rug which will include a paper drawing of the 8x8" rug, linen, all yarn/cloth/sari to complete the rug, a colour key, and a hook. This also includes a 10" hoop. If students have a 10" hoop at home they are welcome to bring it (kit cost would be $50.00). There will be a 30 minute lunch break.
