We're excited to bring a new Youth Group to our Community!

YACAC!

(Youth + Ailsa Craig Arts Centre)

We envision YACAC to be a space where youth aged 10-15 years of age (recommended) can immerse themselves in the arts, using creative expression through various art mediums such as drama, visual arts, music and nature.  We're looking forward to collaborating with participants to develop the future of  YACAC into something that is theirs, so it truly meets all their creative needs.

We would like to thank the Optimist Club of East Williams for sponsoring the YACAC so that area youths can participate without any cost for membership, supplies or materials. A donation of a canned good for the Ailsa Craig Food Bank would be appreciated each time a youth participates.

YACAC will meet the first Wednesday of the month at the Ailsa Craig Arts Centre (unless otherwise advised due to programming needs). It will run from 6:30- 8:30 PM

Join us for our first Project!

Our first goal is to create a space where youth from the community can come together to learn and explore new art mediums every month.  This art block will run the first Wednesday of each month from January to June 2024 and from 6:30-8:30 pm.  The first session will be working with acrylic paint pours and the remaining five projects will be decided together as a group. Due to workspace limitations registration will be capped at 10 participants. 

Registration is open to North Middlesex residents only until December 20th, 2023
